Applying to CoE for Civil Engineering

Have the numbers of NYU Class of 2020 early decision applicants/acceptances been released anywhere?

I have a 3,3 UW GPA, 31 ACT, 9 AP Classes and several EC’s. OOS. Any chances applied to RD?

After I payed for my tuition deposit and housing enrollment, there were two options to click, return to home page or proceed with housing. After I clicked return to home page I couldn’t find where the link for the housing application was. And after going back, it says that I haven’t payed for the tuition deposit and housing enrollment… Any help or suggestions???

I cant believe im posting this
SAT: 1890
GPA: UW: 3.6
HOUSING CHANGE: YES

My numbers are awful, but I think what got me in were my essays, recs, and extracurriculars (9 leadership positions).
Accepted to LSP.

@tobiuo888 You should be able to access the housing application through “NYUhome”(you can google it) and once you are logged in you should find it on the main page. If not, you may have to add the “housing and meal plan application” to your home page through the “channels” selection. If this doesn’t make any sense then don’t worry about it… I’m sure they will send out more info by e-mail after winter break.

SAT: 2150 (cr680;m770;w700)
GPA: 38/42(IB predicted score) 37/42 (IB1 year)
HOUSING CHANGE: YES
Accepted to Gallatin.(International)

Hope to help you guys.

i think i made a mistake when i submitted CA on the activities…can i change this? I’m an RD applicant btw i couldn’t find an RD thread

@zeppelins Just e-mail admissions. I made a mistake on the Common App also and they were super helpful in resolving it.

@zeppelins I also made a mistake on my common app and I went to my school’s guidance office and a secretary called admissions for me to correct it. I assume either one would suffice  good luck!

@callmemx @deller123 thanks guys!

SAT : 2150
FA Change : Second wave (December 4th)
Housing Change: I discovered it  And it’s true for me.
NYU Tandon School of Engineering
Half-tuition scholarship.

My experience is, the FA Change and the Housing Change is definitely true. Not sure about international students, but all international students around my area (I’m from Cal so many Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese students around here) who got the change got in.

I’ve literally read through thousands of combined pages from previous years’ threads, ED, RD, ED2,… And I haven’t seen anybody without an FA Change got in. So good luck to ED2 and RD applicants this year, see you guys in NYU. And feel free to pm me, I’m not a student so I can’t give opinions about NYU, but I’ve been following this thread very closely until the admission decisions and I’ve had experience with all these FA changes and stuffs. Once again, Merry Christmas and good luck to all.

@ferrarivettel I’m not sure if I joined the forum too late to be looking for the FA change from the first wave, but I was checking every day from around December 1st and I never received it. However, I did receive the housing change and was admitted, so I’m not sure the theory is entirely correct.

Quick question, did anyone apply to Stern or any other school at NYU and ONLY submited three SAT Subject Tests? Or does anyone have any reliable information on accepted students who only sent these? Thanks!

Guys, I got accepted to Stern 2020 and received a “Stern Scholarship” for $24,400. They showed me a table and divided that aid into $12,200 for the 2 semesters in the year. What is this “Stern Scholarship”?

Is it renewable each year?

@SATscorer I think that’s basically a scholarship to help cover the fees from the Stern School. I received the Tandon Scholarship.

All NYU scholarships are renewable each year provided you meet some kind of performance requirement. Definitely try to make friends with some Stern students who are receiving that scholarship or email the school for details. But from what I’ve heard it’s quite easy to keep your scholarship, just don’t fail anything lol.
