Apparently the FA page is under maintenance now, so yes, I would assume the second wave is happening!
Albert as a whole is down for me
Although I keep telling people that even if the FA Theory was true, there’s plenty of time to receive the change, I’m giving myself a heart attack anytime I check Albert and a bit of disappointnent when nothing changed.
I guess that’s high school senior life for everyone.
I am so happy that I am not applying for FA. It seems to be giving people more stress that it should.

have you guys taken a look at naviance (if your school provides it) and how many people get in through early? 77% of the people who have applied from my school were accepted to nyu since 2008

Correct. Rejections usually start at around 1 or 1:30am and will happen in waves. The last rejection wave usually ends at noon, so if you don’t have an email from admissions by then, it’s very likely you were accepted. Acceptances start going out at around 3 3:30ish and they usually all go out at once. Before you receive an email, you will notice in Albert a green “Accept” button. This means you are accepted, and you will receive the official email a half hour or so later. So be sure to check Albert as this will be your first notice of acceptance.

GUYS help…i applied to stern and applied for all the financial aid stuff fa, css, everything. i saw albert was down, but now its back up and i still haven’t got the fa change. anyone else with the same situation? Does this mean I’m rejected or likely to be rejected? @NYUFan101 or anyone who can help. just be honest bc i need to know how much to study for my upcoming sat/act!

@Collegegal06 @IABstudio Albert was likely down for regular maintenance today. I honestly wouldn’t worry at all. I didn’t receive my FA change until December 6, or around there. You guys have plenty of time to receive the change. I remember one person didn’t get the change until 3 days before decision day and still got in.
what about the “application status” part of albert. All mine shows when i click it is a checklist of the required items (all of which are checkmarked btw)
