@deller123…that’s awesome! i think they require first marking period grades so it’s not like it’s bad and certainly good that they def. are still considering you. where do you live? wonder if regional or alphabetical, or how they do it. i’ve heard at least three people read it. but that was from years ago.
Omg that’s crazy their wrapping things up this week
I’ve heard of people with low scores getting in because they have connections with the admissions board?
did ED I students from 2019 who did not submit the CSS profile / apply for FA also get the FA changes?
@blazingthrough I believe so. Who knows why no one who didn’t submit CSS got the FA change this year.
is it because we all suck or sth
@iamprolollz my thoughts precisely
Oh do they need first quarter grades for ED? My school went on strike and first quarter is just ending now, so my transcripts only had fresh-junior. Is that something I should have my counselor call to ask about? Our college counselor left for a new job today without warning!! Just to make the process more stressful!!
@kh1255 no, they do not need first quarter grades. They will notify you if they want them though.
So just to confirm, has anyone who did not apply for financial aid receive the FA change?
no

Apparently nothing happened, just another system maintenance.
It’s December tomorrow already, I guess us applicants, to any schools, are feeling the heat more than ever. Admission Officers must also be aware that decision day is close as well.
Good luck to everyone.
Hi everyone. Still no FA changes
no one i know hv a FA change … except for this one person
but i dont think we should worry at this stage yet. still 15 days left to go!
anywayz good luck everyone!
U guys think we’ll get the decision three days earlier like in past years? Maybe December 12 instead of 15th
@collegeJerome I think it’s either Decemer 11th or December 14th/15th. Because the 12th and 13th are weekends.
December 11th is an a bit too early, but I’d still bet on it. I don’t think 2 days of work is “that” important, maybe they’ll push a little harder to release the results on Friday to have themselves a nice weekend.
One thing I like about NYU is that their financial package comes with the admission decision, not “you’ll be notified about any scholarships and financial aids very soon” like many other colleges. But I do understand that having to also finish the financial stuffs before mid-December is hard work for them, so I won’t complain if I had to wait until the 15th lol :))
@collegecarol22…so the DON’T need any senior grades? i guess i thought they did…my school just sends them so i didn’t have a choice…anyone else know? thanks.
So…am I correct on this?..Of the applicants on this thread…all of those who did NOT submit CSS/FA request did NOT yet have an FA change and those who had a change all DID submit CSS right?
@horselover7…i thought that they needed early senior grades too…maybe we are both wrong.
