@stern2020 Do you have the link to the thread where people who got the change later said they recieved a higher amount of aid?
@sandmankraju It’s easier just to wait 9 days than stress out about inaccurate posts by other stressed out teenagers…
exactly
I personally feel that talking about something relieves some of the anxiety about it. Don’t know why lol. So discussing on College Confidential is a way for me to be less stressful.
Besides, it keeps me updated on any news there might have. So go CCers!
Hi everyone. I applied ED1 and I’m a little worried because I had the FA change a couple days ago. It said, “2017 No self-service aid available for this year” or something like that. However, I checked again today and now it says, “Award access not available.” Does this mean they changed their minds or something?
This FA change thing only works for domestic students right? Or including international students?
@sfsfsf123 if you look back at the previous posts, this happened to everyone who had the change. On Friday everyone’s was reset back to “award access not avaiable”. Don’t know what it means.
@catherine0611 it only applied to domestic applicants. At this point no one REALLY knows what the FA change meant. We just have to wait like everyone else until the 15th.
We’re all in this together guys! 9 more days
ok! Thanks
Yeeeee, 9 more days!

Wait so are the decisions going to be released all at once @ 5:00 PM EST?
@chlxbb They always say that decisions are released at five, yet in the past they have consistently come in waves (or else they would overload email servers). This year is different, however, as they have eliminated email notifications all together. It is perfectly likely that this year all the decisions will come out at 5, but I think they’re probably just saying that to be safe. A sort of guarantee that we will have our results by 5 EST? If I wanted to see my results as early as possible, I would check Albert repeatedly at 30 minute intervals between 3 and 5. The likelihood that results will be out any earlier than 3 is low.
@iywang Ohh so 5PM EST is when we will have our results for sure. (actually 2 PM for me haha)
I’m sure you’ll get in! Your stats are so great I can’t even think of one reason for them to reject you. And plus you got the FA change.
9 more days to go!!!
@iywang this is the first time decisions will be released on Albert, so there’s no way to be sure. I personally would check from morning till night lol.
:!!
How does everyone know decisions are being released on Albert only and not email?
