Did I get the right FA change?
Does anyone know what the FA changes are supposed to say. From 2019 their FA change said:
“2017- Award Access Unavailable”
I got"2017 - No Self service …"
last year said 2016 award access not available.

omg the FA change theory is freaking me out… I didn’t catch any of the previous waves of FA change since I didn’t start to log into my Albert account daily until this week.
Also, can anyone tell me that if the FA change applies to international students who are NOT applying to any sort of financial aid??? I am so confused since I don’t think it would make sense if students who are not applying to FA get the FA change especially when they are international… Anyone could confirm this ???

@IABstudio I got it in 12/4 then the default. But I’ve seen the 2019 RD reporting their change was 2016 Award access not available.
But then again, the FA theory was not consistent for them

@sandmankraju nope! I studied there this summer for a month, and I don’t have the SAP drop down. My account looks the same as everyone elses except that I had a 2015 AND a 2016 bar before the changes started happening

@epgggg Oh interesting. But as of right now all the people that do have it have been previous summer camp/classes students.

Just got rejected from Cornell. I should’ve applied ED1 at NYU instead!
Oh well, I’ll be doing ED2 here, so I guess I’m joining y’all.
NYU was my real #1 anyways. I honestly have no idea why I went ED1 at Cornell instead of here, I think it was to “maximize” chances or something stupid like that.
Kinda hoping that ED2 isn’t significantly more difficult than ED1, or else I may have shot myself in the foot.
@dehca2016 Honestly I wanted to ED Cornell and ED2 NYU as well, but every teacher told me there was only a small chance. So I gave up and ED NYU. But actually it’s a pity of not trying Cornell. Anyway you tried

I tried, but I hope it didn’t hurt my chance at NYU, which was my actual dream school. Oh well, nothing I can do now but hope.
And I had a bad Jr year, so hopefully first semester senior year will let me show them “Hey fam, I’m not that stupid!”
