@collegecarol22 are you talking about the FA change or the SAP change?
I don’t know if this was already stated but decisions usually come out in waves. Rejections are usually early and acceptances are usually later.

Random question but does anyone know if NYU’s admissions stats such as acceptance rate for ED includes international campuses such as AD and Shanghai too?

Last year I believe the applicants were also told that the decisions would be emailed at 5pm and the started much much earlier. Maybe this year is different. We will be on alert just in case.
Regarding SAP.
I was a tisch summer scholar this summer and I have SAP 2015, 2016, and 2017 with 2017 saying SAP undetermined.
While I applied undergrad to gallatin, I had a tisch professor right me a kick *** letter of rec.
Also, after snooping on the nyu website regarding SAP, it seems as if the only time you’re considered for SAP is after acceptance, as it is merit based aid.
@remuwannabe They said they would email acceptances by 5pm last year. Yet they still said they would email them. This year they said they would not be emailing.
I’m betting Albert will be able to handle the load of 5000+ students looking for their acceptance at the same time. Considering it can handle many more during registration. The response time may be slower, and it might take a couple of tries, but I doubt it will crash the system (at least I hope not).
@epgggg my SAP says “2017 undetermined.” You’re saying this is a good sign?
WOW GUYS! Where did the time go? I remember submitting my application and wondering how on earth I could survive 5 weeks of anticipation. But here I am! Here WE are!
I just want everyone to know, that we ALL deserve to get in. We have all given NYU our best, and everything that happens will happen for a reason. I hope I see you all this upcoming Fall!! :x
Guys I do want to ask you…
If you are accepted, how do you plan to pay for tuition? I only ask because I am from a single parent, low income household. I’m the first generation to go to college and I really hope I can get some decent aid from my CSS profile I submitted.
I DO work, but I’m not sure what to do to help make ends meet. This is my dream and I don’t want to turn down an acceptance offer because of money.
