Like everyone who saw my application thought I’d get in but I used to say “hah its a dream.”
I worked for 7 months for this… I was up till 4:27 AM in the morning when I got my decision saying.
“Sorry, you just aren’t good enough of a creative person.”
Yeah, that pains… I’ll just go and see what happens with my Emmersons and Tulane application (probably wont get in either).

hey guys, i got waitlisted at Stern… thought u guys would like to know I called up NYU and they said they don’t have many statistics available but the one statistic they had was that the number of ED applicants was up 40% this year…insane…
@dbender oh my lord… I feel so grateful I got deferred. Sorry to all that got rejected. I know I might be rejected in ED 2, but I can’t help but be still be hopeful.

For the essay I wrote about what made NYU different for me focusing of the classes, curriculum, and the city. The essay, while average at some points with some basic filler all apps probably were along the lines of, the parts that stand out of things that were unique to NYU, me, and how they connect.

Hi, I was just accepted to NYU’s GLS program. I chose Paris as my first choice for my freshman year, but it did not say in my acceptance letter which campus I will be on. How do I find that out?

@Guinny23 that’s odd, my D’s letter stated her first year campus. I’d suggest calling or emailing admissions, they are very responsive.
Alternatively, go to the housing site, it will show you where your fall 2019 accommodation option is (not sure if you need to accept before you can see this).
