I applied Tisch to Film & Television, and am not submitting test scores because they aren’t required for Tisch. Does anyone know if this hinders my ability for acceptance or if it’s still a toss-up?
Also I sent an email to my NYUnetID@nyu.edu and it didn’t bounce. Did anyone else try this?
@Sgmom lolol great idea! ? I just sent an email from my personal email to my NYUID@nyu.edu email. The email did not bounce back, but I can’t find a way to see if it actually deliver to my NYUnewclasses portal… I don’t think this is an indicator but hope you guys can all try too and let me know! 
@EmJenkins at all of the information sessions and open houses I attended they were very adamant about truly being test optional. Also you can log onto the emails by going on gmail and putting in the nyu email im pretty sure. I was there over the summer so I already have mine set up and i get messages form the student health center but also i don’t think this is anything of a tell since its just an automatic thing.
I sent an email to my NYU Id and it didn’t bounce back. Maybe a good indicator bc they wouldn’t create and host unnecessary emails automatically right? But then i tried random emails like lwkjflksdjflkajlkjs@nyu.edu and still no bounce back so idk lol
Pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything… if the emails don’t bounce back while sending to random NYU emails.

I dunno, I assumed the creation was automatic with the creation of an NYU ID (because that’s way easier than individually having to go and create them for each accepted student), and that there is some sort of “limbo” inbox they sit in, either until the email account is confirmed by an incoming student, or forever /until whatever autotrash setting gets rid of them.
i applied to all studios! but i stated in both my essay and interview that playwrights horizons is the studio i want and feel id fit best in @cmhvisuals
is the housing change when Albert had a box that says “NYU Housing Payments”? My portal now has that option on it.
Can you access that box? We’ve had it from day 1, but nothing happens when I click on it.
Can someone who claims to have had a housing change actually explain what it was before and what it changed to?
@aves2023 Ahhh awesome. How do you think your audition went?
@cmhvisuals i think it went pretty well! i did a digital audition on the 13th and, firstly, i was the ONLY one responding to the admissions lady in the first part. and then my audition evaluator was the head of the drama department! it was honestly the best performance of my monologues id ever done and he seemed genuinely invested in everything i had to say, and complimented my passion and energy. also he was typing and smiling a lot which i think is a good sign

It is a double major, so if I do get in and go to NYU I will eventually have to chose a second one. But you can apply under journalism!
