<p>I just tried to create my NetID with my university ID (the N… one) and it worked!
I can get to the page where they want me to create my password and all.
Didn’t bother creating the password though.</p>

<p>WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??</p>

<p>btw, I tried the same thing about two weeks ago and I couldn’t get to this page.
A message saying that you have to be a current NYU student to create a NetID popped up.</p>

<p>@ThrowingMuses: not necessarily. it could mean they are still reviewing your application. and according to some people, some applicants that are accepted could not activate their accounts until very late</p>

<p>just tried to find out over the phone, wasn’t as easy as i thought it would be. and i thought i used a legit excuse and everything. all they could tell me was when the letter was sent out. gahhh!</p>
