@mill213 Did your financial award update from when it was first posted/did you actually get an email notifying you of the award? Currently waiting for mine

@apocalypso @goofyspooks @ah3rtttt @georgej34 Everyone that either is waiting for a financial aid award/barely got any aid, I just called the FA Office and they said that only a portion of our award is currently loaded; that the full award will be posted in the next couple days and we’ll get an email notifying us.
Also a heads up I heard we can’t appeal as transfer students/first semester; we can only appeal in spring. I hope it updates for me, I’m kinda freaking out because I got literally no aid from NYU as of now.

@DaSquirrel007 thanks for the info. I really hope they do update our financial aid packages. However, I got off the phone with the financial aid office and the person helping me said that the best award is offered up front and that it cannot be appealed.
did anyone applying to stern hear anything? my checklist is still there

@Leonberger I really hope so too. That’s good to know as well, I really hope they do update the aid though because this is kinda of a cruddy situation for quite a few of us. I know that the average aid package at NYU is like 30k, so I am honestly pretty shocked almost all of us got next to nothing
