If guessing serves me well, there “should” be a big wave this Friday since they skipped Monday for Memorial Day. No sources, just a flat out dream.

@larosa2 just couldn’t justify the cost. Received many generous aid packages from other very good schools. I think NYU is missing out here, not making it more feasible for a more diverse population of students.

Hey guys. Been watching the thread for some time and decided to ask a question. I am an applicant for the Stern School of Business and I’ve noticed that they released a huge wave of acceptances last week. I understand that this process is rolling admissions; me and my friend both submitted on April 1st, and she got accepted and I didn’t hear back yet. She did decline her admission though. I understand that people are declining their spots because of poor financial aid, so there are definitely more acceptances to come. But does her receiving her decision and not me indicate something bad?
@yooooonyu No. The admissions office has explained that it is rolling decisions, and they do not release more rejections during a certain batch. Each batch they release is being looked at for the first time, so acceptances and rejections occur in all of the batches. One entire batch is not dedicated to rejections and vice versa.
Are you sure about this? Because I haven’t heard of any rejection thus far

@yooooonyu I am sure. I directly spoke to an admissions officer. This thread of people is not fully comprised of everyone that applied as a transfer, meaning the people who got rejected may not be a part of this thread. Maybe some are a part of the thread but chose not to post their rejection online.

Hey all, observer here. I was curious if anyone on here has gotten into NYU and has heard back from housing? I’m nervous that I might not get anything, which would be a bummer because I wouldn’t get to go…

No one (including returning undergraduates who normally have accommodation guarantees) at NYU has heard back from housing yet. Due to covid they are not following their normal systems.
Thank you so much! I’m super nervous. I really want to attend, but my parents have told me that if I can’t get housing that I can’t go. Hoping for the best!
