Hey guys, my zoom status changed to Member- Student, does that mean anything?
Many NYU students share apartments around the area, and in some cases it works out cheaper than dorms. Is this not an option?

Guys, i’m not sure if yall already knew but the admission office told me that the admissions decisions process is slower this year due to the whole coronavirus situation. I personally thought that since the school has been closed since March that everything would have been gone faster than usually since they’re all at home anyway but apparently the coronavirus has left a big impact on the school and its workers! So if you’re still waiting for a decision just like me, hold on and do not put any negative thoughts in your head! Stay positive and try not to check your portal every minute because you will go crazy! ??
i just got all my final grades and I had a 4.0 this semester. Should i upload them too NYU? i have heard in the past that uploading new material may hinder your decision.
I called the admission office and asked them if uploading my spring grades will effect my application, and the lady said if anything it will strengthen it especially if you got a 4.0 GPA in that semester.
So, I uploaded my spring grades. You should too since you got all As.

I mentioned it to my parents and they said we could look at it if I’m not offered housing, but it would be a slim chance of me going. They’re incredibly nervous about sending their oldest off to the other side of the country. They want me to go, but the housing situation is where they’re being strict. And I can understand their hesitation, but I’m hoping that we can figure something out so I can go

I know it doesn’t mean anything but my zoom changed from member to member -student and I simply wanted to post because it is the first change I have seen in over a month and I feel a little alive again haha.

does member student mean anything? also have that. checklist also disappeared 10 days ago and i can see summer housing. no transfer credits or COA though
Where’s everyone seeing their zoom status? All i’ve been doing is logging into the applicant portal and all that’s there is my information, academic checklist, financial checklist, & my transcripts that i uploaded
what is the zoom status that everybody are talking about. How to check?
