Clearly this Zoom status thing just doesn’t mean anything.
I have member-alumni and apparently others have that too but barely anyone else. I haven’t seen anyone else who has said they have that status.
What is that supposed to mean? I’ve already graduated from NYU but have been waitlisted for admission at the same time? Zoom hypotheticals carry no weight.
Let’s hope they’re generous with this waitlist pool.
@transferboy2021 nah waitlist isn’t binding. Only binding admission is ED I for incoming freshmen.
Either way, no school will probably be doing hard-binding admissions during a pandemic – too many factors weigh in for the applicants and their fams.

No Sat scores as I never had the opportunity to take but attempted before all schools closed - Everything was based on my college GPA

@irukasensei someone told me the chance of getting in is around 80%, shes a nyu freshman.
It can vary hugely. I think last year when NYU sent out the “soft close” email they said they had admitted 350 students off it. Maybe that was 80% (though I’d be surprised), but it’s not always that high.
