Did any of you had received an estimated amount from TAP?
I was just wondering, for the Tandon applicants, did you apply as a regular transfer or as the second bachelor transfer. I got in for first-year admissions, but for financial reasons, my parents said I can’t attend for the full 4 years and that I should look to transfer sophomore year. I didn’t see any information online regarding traditional transfer and now I’m confused.
I am so frustrated y’all. NYU is literally my dream school (as I’m sure it is for you all as well) and I have to make a decision for BU by June 1st. I’m hoping that we hear back within the next few weeks but I’m starting to get pretty discouraged. Anyone else in the same boat with having to commit to another school soon?
@shivanishastri I have applied as an traditional transfer - Sophomore (civil engineering). I haven’t heard anything yet. My checklist is still there. How much they give u in financial aid package?
@iatatpgchfe Come clean, I had to put down a non-refundable $600 on May 1st to hold my spot at another college until June 1st so I can wait for NYU and Cornell to give me a decision. I got rejected from Cornell, but NYU is actually my dream school so this decision matters the most to me since idc about the debt, I am deadset on attending NYU. However, I really want the decision before June 1st so I at least have my backup if this fails cause I think I’m living in my dreams.
me too. If I don’t hear from nyu, i will go to BU
Has anyone heard of any rejections so far?
I had so much hope this week and seriously disappointed to have to wait another week.
Does NYU expect you to accept/decline your offer even if you haven’t been notified of your financial aid yet?
Do you guys think NYU is facing a problem that not enough students committed to them this year? It could explain their weird admissions pattern of releasing decisions.
Have there only been acceptances so far in this thread?
@Yankeefan20 No one really knows. I’m assuming some people have been rejected, but no one has said they have on this forum.
same I feel you! i think ill be committing to bu’s questrom school of business
For the ones who have been accepted, are you all internal or external transfers? Also, for the ones who are still waiting on a decision, are you an external transfer? I’m asking as supposedly external decisions take longer but not sure if it’s the case on why decisions are taking so long. (Gallatin in specific but I’m asking in general.)
@maaaav I’m pretty sure the people who have been accepted so far are internal transfer because they release their decisions from April to May. We are external transfers. On the website, external transfer decisions come out between May and June.
@maaaav I’m still waiting for a response and I am currently an external transfer (Tisch)!
@kel5142 Are you transferring to Gallatin as well or to somewhere else
@Dudu123456 hopefully we get a decision this upcoming Friday lol
I’m also waiting for Gallatin, but it seems like they have been admitting people during the last few weeks. I’m applying as a junior external applicant
I’m waiting on CAS econ. Submitted app early March. Who else is CAS econ?
