@student8899 I am! has anyone in cas econ gotten in yet?
I’ve been accepted as an external transfer to cas
would you mind sharing your stats?
Do you all think they take much matter into our high school transcript and SAT score than our current college grades??? Or do they only ask for high school documentation only to see if we did better or worse after graduating?
(My high school grades were bad, but my college gpa is 4.0 all A’s and will have around 60 credits by the end of this semester with an Associates)
60 credits with a 4.0 will take a lot of weight off of HS transcript as long as you were full time. It will still be a factor, but a very small one. They’ll primarily be looking at your college record.
I got $5,000 through the Tandon Scholarship and the same FAFSA unsubsidized loan as all of my other college acceptances. My family makes more than the average but an EC of $60k was nowhere close to a reasonable amount for 4 years so I can’t commit.
Wow guys alot of waitlisted students are declining their offers due to their financial aid being so low
cas Econ no response
CAS Econ no response
same CAS econ still waiting for a response
Any other international transfers waiting for a decision?
@larosa2 let’s pray that this works in our favor (despite probably gonna have the same non-existent amount of financial aid as the waitlisted)
@larosa2 Where did you hear that about the waitlisted students?
How valid of a sign is the “Transfer Credit Report,” or the lack thereof?
Has NYU accepted all the psychology students for CAS? I haven’t heard back yet and the suspense is killing me!!!
@rdanie01 the transfer credit report will only show up the morning of your acceptance (this year that would be friday mornings). If its not there throughout the week then that really doesn’t mean anything, but if its not there Friday morning its either a rejection or it means you’re not getting a decision that day.
Cas Econ no response
My transfer credit report has been there since last Friday but I haven’t received any sort of decision so I am not sure what that means
@Mib555 there is a forum on collegeconfidential called NYU Waitlist 2024
