NYU High School Summer Program for Film: Essay Help!

I just want to make sure I have the instructions correct.

“Within the online application manager, please upload an essay addressing the following questions. Be sure to include some specific examples, and please limit your response to three double-spaced pages.”

Then 4 essay topics are listed, one of which that tells me to address this:

“Filmmakers Workshop: Narrative: How have film and television directly influenced your life? List your five favorite films and/or television programs. For each favorite, please explain your choice.”

So my question is, do I do all the topics, including my five favorite films/TV programs in one whole essay, or do I do the three topics then do a paper that explains my five favorite films/TV programs?

And if it’s one full essay, got any tips of how to squeeze all of that information into 3 pages while staying detailed?

You’re right Appleman, the instructions, as you’ve shown them, are ambiguous. They tell you to address the following “questions” (plural), but then they seem to offer you a list of topics to choose from.
If you post the entire instruction text we might be able to find more clues!
Can you call the admissions office and ask for clarification?
