<p>they probably dont let prospective students get their net-id until they get accepted</p>
<p>the thing is, we all pretty much know that we HAVE been accepted.</p>
<p>exactly jaimelajolie. i’m sure we have nothing to worry about. it is a little early…hah. we’ll get our acceptance things soon and everyone will live happily ever after. (i’m trying to ignore my suspicions…i mean, they could have sent the invitation to me by mistake!)</p>

Practically my entire family has gone to Ohio State (Grandfather-although he went to Michigan, too…, Mother, Father, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, et c.). Me? Well…I never got around to applying… :)</p>

<p>Since I now have a NetID, as well as an NYU email address, I think that would be a good sign. Not everyone is able to get an email address, correct?</p>
<p>Maybe you won’t be able to log in to NYUHome until you have said you will attend the school or whatever. Who knows…But having an email is good, at least. </p>

<p>^ you should sign up to facebook like NOW! thats the first thing im doing when i get my nyu email, yes it is addictive ive been on this site all day…only because im depressed about a rejection i recieved today over the PHONE</p>

<p>yeah my first rejection over the phone was the worst, especially when the person on the other end of the phone didn’t care and made that fact evident. anyway it was a huge surprise</p>
<p>actually i called them just to ask if they sent any decision in the mail (because I was supposed to recieve it the 15th), but she told me on the spot…then she had the audacity to ask if i wanted her to send me a copy in the mail. it was CUNY Honors: Baruch by the way…</p>
