While I fully understand that they probably have a good amount of applications to go through and whatnot, I quite literally need a decision ASAP as other schools that Iâve been accepted to require responses for admission very, very soon; I canât let those fall through the cracks while waiting for NYU, which could, in theory, reject me. The thing is that I would attend NYU over all of them, but I just need an answer so that I can figure out my life. Insanely, intensely, irrefutably annoyingâŠ!!!
@Fitzgerald73 i say you call them and like talk to them about your situation. I dont know if its a thing but ask if you can just go to their office for the decision or something for an alternative. I am worrying too even though I only applied to NYU, but my financial aid for the spring is like already enrolled in for the college I am currently attending, so idk what will happen at the end. But yah, this is just a suggestion.

@Fitzgerald73 I think its random at this point lol. I just hope since they started giving out decisions late they consider giving it on other days beside just Fridays.
Can we really be sure that they started late or is just that no one on this forum received/reported a response thenâŠ

@Vandeers22 you could be right. But its just whenever we called them in the last few weeks they said theyâll release at the end of november. Again I am not sure.

I donât expect to get my results back soon, unfortunately. They have contacted me a few times about what Iâve spent my time doing, etc⊠So I imagine theyâre still compiling my application.
For the two people accepted that posted on here, their checklists were gone when they checked at 1:13 and 2:06PM on 11/15. As of right now, 3:26PM, my checklist remains. Guess itâs looking like 11/22, ~4PM for the next waveâŠ
I noticed a small mistake on my application status page on Albert. In the âapplication informationâ section, under âapplication type,â it says âtransfer from 4 year collegeâ when in reality I would be transferring from a 2 year college. I tried updating it using the button on the right side, but then it asks me to update school, program, and essay as well. I donât want them to see this whole update request since what I really need to change is such a small detail. Should I email them?
I gap a year from CWRU. I feel itâs not positive for transferring lol.

Ok, so I just got a financial aid package for the spring of 2020, but nothing for fall 2020. I got an email saying that my financial aid package was available for the 2019-2020 academic year and I went to Albert and I saw the financial aid package for the spring. But no other indications, I donât see a transfer credit report and my checklist is still there. Is this any indication that I am accepted? I donât see why I would get an FA package and not be accepted right? I also do not want to get my hopes up :neutral:

@jd9821 youâve got accepted dude. They make financial aid package only for accepted students not for everyone who applies. Youâll receive your acceptance letter on next decision wave.
Hey to anyone who applied to any of the art programs at steindhardt or Tisch, I just called the department heads to see when our portfolios will be reviewed and our decision will be sent and they said that some of us should be expecting to hear something in a week or two!
