My friend works in the admission office. He had a chance to have a look at the acceptance rate while making copies. For the Spring20 transfer admission acceptance rate is 13%. It means the decisions are done. The admission committee is making financial aid packages for accepted students. We may hear this Fri or next week. If you see a financial package update in Albert then congratulations! I canāt believe it has become that tough to get into NYU!!! Good luck to all of you guys. Wish me good luck as well. I bet you donāt wanna ask about the mean gpa ?

yes but that was a WHILE AGO (Maybe sept-oct). It only came once. Just call NYU admissions and notify them about it and they will remove it instantly. Since then, I havenāt seen that glitch again (even today)!

so 50% of applicants had above a 3.62 GPA, but only 13% were accepted? Does that mean that unless I have a 3.9+ I can expect a rejection? (For reference I have a 3.78)
Average doesnāt necessarily mean 50% (more than likely, thatās the median gpa)

Guys!! Has anyone that has been admitted still not gotten their financial aid package? Please respond!!! I had to pay the deposit already to hold my spot but I still havent gotten my package yetā¦
If everyoneās decisions will be released on Wednesday like rumored, maybe thats when youāll get the package? Hope it comes quick for you.

Could be wrongā¦ I hope Iām wrongā¦ but honestly what the admissions say at this point concerning decisions Iām not going to take too serious.
the people that got accepted In this forum are very few and are not that active. Honestly bro, if I was you, Iād call NYU Financial Aid/Bursar, let them know you were accepted and paid your enrollment deposit but did not get a package. Iām sure if they have time for applicants, they will and should have time to help you as an actual student of theirs.
