When NYU says their decisions are “rolling,” it means an applicant can receive their decision anytime between November and January (yep, It could take THAT long). So decisions are given randomly. Doesn’t matter whether you submit early or late. If you submit early, you can be told late. If you submit late, you can be told early. And that NYU doesn’t actually give specific dates of when a decision is made and ready to be notified.
At this point, that may be the most honest answer I have been given…
I called admissions and explained to them that I need to send in a deposit to another university this week and they checked my file and told me they made a decision and I will know by this Thursday/Friday! They also told me that their will be two waves for CAS (this week and next week)
Fingers crossed?
I am only a college freshman, transferring after my first semester from a four-year college. Does it hurt my chances of getting in if I don’t have too many college credits (23 to be exact with AP scores)
I was notified by email during the afternoon that I was accepted to Tisch (internal transfer). But my portal is still there and there is no button where I can confirm my decision
