I am just a bit confused, is this acceptance a binding decision due to the fact that it was early decision? Or does that early decision rule not apply to transfer students?

@MichelleHan19 I got accepted to Steinhardt as well. Early decision applies to incoming freshman only, so if you got accepted as a transfer for the spring, it wouldnāt be binding. Also, I havenāt received a financial aid package yet, it says I canāt access it yet. Have you?
omg thank you for clarifying that up for me! and no I have not, I think we should receive it within a week of when we received our acceptances.
did anyone notice any housing changes or anything else? (for those who havenāt received a decision yet)
@loverose4565 I donāt think so. Iām just gonna wait for my checklist to disappear and see if I have a transfer credit report; I doubt theres any other tell-tale signs of acceptance. The wait is rough though, I havenāt accepted offers from my other schools yetā¦
I havenāt received a decision either. Havenāt seen any new changes that I havenāt already mentioned before in this forum. But if my checklist disappears and/or if anything new happens, Iāll let yāall know. But it feels like we might have to wait til This Friday or beyond, unfortunately. Tuff wait forrealā¦
@loverose4565 @GreatnessIsSaid I noticed something new on my checklistā¦ Under the Financial Aid Requirements checklist, where it has FAFSA with a red X, it used to say āUpdated status expected Mid-Decemberā or something along those lines to the right under the āDateā section. Now itās just blankā¦ doesnāt say anything.

I noticed something but its not on my checklist nor my housing nor albert. I am sure it probably doesnāt mean anything, but I did notice a change there. So when you go to NYU home ---->NYU Work------>NYU Zoom----->Account profile. Under Account profile it says āYour roleā what does it say for you guys? Mine used to say āMemberā but it changed to āMember-studentā. Again I know it doesnāt mean anything but when I was surfing through the website I found that.

Nope. no transfer credit report, or financial aid. probably a rejection :(. I tried to get into NYU zoom and it said Iām not authorized
