i think you still have a shot… there were a couple ppl on the thread who got in with <3.0s in HS and also i think remember someone who got in with like 3.3 college gpa with one semester being as low as 2.8-ish

for tisch musical theater, do you think they base their admissions off of the auditions more than the grades or extra-curriculars? I sure hope so. My college GPA was 3.4 (could’ve gotten a 3.6 if it weren’t for a language class), and my I’m not sure about my HS grades but I have a slight feeling I got <3.0 for many of the semesters (because of another foreign language class)
I applied to Tisch so hopefully transcripts won’t matter as much (the same way the SATs don’t matter as much, I opted to not send those in.)

any external stern transfers hear back?

Someone in this forum who’s an external transfer already heard back, and they submitted their application on March 27th. I’m an external stern transfer with a 4.0 right now at a top 40 college, and I submitted my application Jan 30th, and my checklist already disappeared like two weeks ago, but I still haven’t heard anything. Although, I’m probably not going to be their first priority as I’m taking the Calc and English requirement right now in the Spring Semester. Also, I wonder how many external transfer they’ll accept this year. Some years, there have been apparently only 10 external transfers enrolled in a year, so it’s definitely a slim chance to get in.

Supposedly that is. I of course don’t know if they’re telling the truth, exaggerating, or lying. But getting into Stern as an external transfer is apparently less than 2 or 3 percent, so it’s definitely hardddd.
