I think that the external transfer results for Stern will be likely to release in the next 2-3 weeks? Refer to web ‘Transfer Student Checklist and Schedule NYU Stern’, internal transfer welcome session in on May 7, and we receive decisions only two days before that. The external transfer welcome session is on June 3, I suppose all transfers are able to receive results in late May. (Personally, I don’t think my checklist vanishes before I get the decision. )

I check my hosing application. This year, NYU has made a special REAPPLICATION PRIORITY. I will just show you how it says:

Reapplication Priority:

  • priority Group 1: Sophomore(First Year student admitted Fall 2020 or Spring 2021)
  • priority Group 2: Junior(First Year student admitted Fall 2019 or Spring 2020)
  • priority Group 3: Senior or Transfer
  • priority Group 4: Waitlist

So, I think NYU housing policy is not good for transfers this year…But you can email housing@nyu.edu for more detailed and accurate information.

Hoping you guys start seeing some changes on Albert soon! Watch the FA and COA areas! Last year those populated as early as 4 days prior to acceptance for some kids and other an hour before lol. Hoping the wait is over for all of you next week!

Guys, i had a concern. I am a poli sci applicant and i noticed that a lot of poli sci majors got accepted first wave. Does that mean they will not have enough seats for me. Just curious

And as I know lot of major like psy, international relations… I think we fine. I didn’t see any math or science major get offer yet lol. At least people around me who applied as Stern or math we are still waiting.
