@futurern02 : Yes, that’s correct. On my NYU application, I was asked to list my first choice (Tisch/Film & TV Production). That option may be Tisch specific because I recall an observation on the application saying that, as Tisch is very competitive, they allowed a second choice if the applicant had one. I did, so I listed CAS/Journalism as my second choice. The idea is that the candidate might not get into Tisch but could get into a second choice, whatever that second option may be. The candidate might not get in either choice, naturally.
Added to the CommonApp NYU application, Tisch has a separate application process with its own portal. There’s also a Creative Portfolio.
if a button doesnt disappear this weekend does that suggest i wont get a decision next monday? my checklist disappeared like 2 weeks ago (when there were a lot of us that saw our checklist disappear)
Same here. My checklist also disappeared the same time as yours did. I was hoping that I may have a decision by now but in the previous threads, some people had to wait a month aftet their checklist dissapeared to get a decision. I am just letting you know bc I think the checklist going away just signifies that are applications are complete and ready to be rev

Guys sorry for the constant post. I just had a question. On my albert, where it shows the application status tab, I see two tabs : “Financial aid to do” and “financial aid hold”. Both have them (1) next to them. I don’t know why it says that. My FAFSA shows recieved and the hold I have is from a CSS profile which I did not submit when I applied as a freshman. Do you guys think that could be a problem

Same here. I checked, it’s all good. If it says received and there are no ✘✘✘ or red marks, just sit tight. Dude, our stress level is off the charts!
