For everyone who’s worried that your checklists are still there (mine is too), I thought we established that the checklist disappearing and at what point in time doesn’t really signify our shot at getting accepted? But rather that it tells us when the AO has started to review our application. This is the case, right?

I was told that my decision would be released “mid-may” so I would assume that they would have already reviewed my application.

i heard that some people got emails indicating their application is complete … like maybe mid this week? even though their checklist didnt disappear
whaaaa really? my checklist is gone but I never got any email that is super interesting.
I feel like that’s a response that the AO has to give students, you know? To kind of give us a timeframe without ever giving any individual a response that’s specific to them. The AO has been telling anyone who’s asked them that they’ll be receiving a decision from mid-May-June so idk. It could be that they reviewed yours but it also could have been a generic response and maybe they will get to yours for you to receive a response soon.
Yeah most people didn’t get any emails notifying them of this I believe, but I did see one person say that they got this email. This is all so confusing

So, as I mentioned before, I’m an external Stern transfer applicant (applied on April 1st), my checklist and portal buttons are all still there. I just went into my Albert and clicked “check my application status” and this is what showed up. After reading what it states, I’m confused because there’s no “button above” to click but I never received an offer or any update/letter at all yet either?
I’ll try and upload a photo of the screenshot in my next post

Nvm it won’t let me upload a photo lol, but when the window opens up after I click “check my application status” it says Application Status, with my name under it, and then: “Welcome! If you have been offered admission you will click on the button above to go through the process to accept or decline the offer. If you’ve already accepted or declined your offer, the button will not appear. If you have any questions please reach out to our Office of Admissions at admissions @ nyu.edu”
But there’s no “button” and I haven’t received any offer or update yet. Is this a glitch or is it just normal/nothing? Does it indicate anything? 
What do you guys think?
I have also have that, I think its just a normal thing for those who haven’t gotten a decision yet because those who have been accepted see the green button to accept or decline the offer. If it is an indicator that would be awesome but sadly I do not think that’s the case and that we need to just wait

Ah okay, yeah that makes sense and I thought so too, but I thought I’d just check with the thread to be sure. Thank you guys!! I hope something happens for all of us soon (something good hopefully)

My button finally disappear!
Which school did u apply? And did it disappear just now?
I called admission yesterday and they said my decision has been made, and I will be notified either on the week of May 17 or May 24 but they can’t see the decision. Yet I still don’t have nothing on my financial aid link or transfer credit report, I guess this is it. Good luck everyone.

just checked my portal, my application update FINALLY disappeared. the anticipation has skyrocketed lmao

i rlly hope it’s the the week of may 17 bc i will SCREAM if it is the week after. the fact that they are contemplating to withhold that type of information from us

CAS applied as international relations major. I basically check it everyday so I can be pretty much sure that it just disappear this morning
