i’m just going off of what the NYU page said BUT it doesn’t mean they’re gonna reject your application or anything–maybe call AO? plus with COVID and everything I’m sure they’re more lenient ab it

someone earlier said when they saw past threads there were people whose buttons never disappeared or anything till the last second and they still got a decision so i wouldnt say you definitely aren’t

Yeah cus most of my classes were online and i didn’t have a f2f interaction with the professors, so i thought it is fine plus shes also a professor but never taught me before.

This is what you needed to submit:
The Common Application Instructor Evaluation form OR a letter of recommendation completed by a college professor, or a direct supervisor if it has been more than a year since you were last enrolled in classes.
It would be worth contacting the AO to confirm what you sent fulfills the requirement 
.

I’m just hoping we all get our decisions this week. Do you guys think someone who applied from HS and got rejected and improved their stats and essay and all in college during the first year may have a high chance or not really?

Thanks for replying. On my checklist it says academic evaluation received and when i called not asking about this but smth else and they said my app is complete im not missing anything. Maybe they considered the letter from her as an academic evaluation, but what is academic evaluation

so to upload a letter of rec to the common app the professor or whoever is required to fill out an academic evaluation, which basically assesses how you are as a student in comparison to others in your class. so the person you asked to fill out the letter of rec would have already completed that part so I wouldn’t worry
