My checklist disappeared in early April and I still haven’t heard anything lol. Idk what to think about it at this point too. The chances of External transfers getting into Stern is like trying to get into Stanford or Harvard for transfer lol.

Omg this put things into greater perspective. Holy. Oh man. Honestly I think us external Stern* applicants will do ourselves a favor if we keep our hopes and expectations minimal since it is already set up in a way that’s incredibly tough for us to get in. I really hope that they didn’t just give ALL of their space to internals and that they left space and chances for externals as well. We really can’t know, which is why I guess it’s important to remember not to be so hurt or broken apart by a rejection 
BUT I’m keeping faith and hoping the best for all of us I guess they wouldn’t take external applicants if it was impossible, right? So here’s hoping 🥲

I am also external and haven’t gotten a decision yet. My checklist disappeared at the end of April or so but I’m not sure if that means anything. I did give the admissions office a call a few weeks ago at the beginning of may and they said that they hadn’t started looking at any applications for Stern yet and were probably only going to finish by end-may maybe june. Hope this helps!

i hope, im obviously gonna wait but i and im sure many others need to plan my living situation for the coming fall which already takes a long time bc of covid
