Did anyone else apply to summer programs like tisch? I did film and tv, but haven’t their summer classes already started? Like isn’t a notification this late just a guaranteed rejection or am I paranoid?

I did! They have different summer programs you can participate in. I know one summer session has already started, but there are a few more throughout the summer. So you still have as much a chance of acceptance as you did before. You didn’t miss summer courses altogether, do not worry

Yes! Tisch film and tv too. They have a few options of 3 week, 6 week, 7 week, 10 week, 12 week and 14 week programs throughout the summer.

We’re in the same boat then, it feels nice to know other tisch applicant haven’t found out yet haha. Have you had any indicators? So far all I have is my update application button missing. I hope we both get in!!

It is incredibly refreshing for me as well. There a handful of us Tisch people still waiting. My update button disappeared today too and so did that covid one (I don’t know if it’s an indicator of anything). I hope so too!

I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s truly USC’s loss. I hope NYU doesn’t make the same mistake. I am also not feeling so confident on whether or not I’ll be accepted. Even if I was fully capable of being admitted, I still wouldn’t have the confidence to believe I deserve admittance. We really shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves

Omg I’m the same way. I always bring myself down telling myself I’m not deserving of things that I otherwise would believe I am capable of doing. I hope we get the outcomes that are best for us. Try to think positive thoughts. We are too hard on ourselves, for sure.

USC reject here as well : ( it’s all good though you’re right it is their loss, hope we all get the best outcomes for us too, we got this

I wish you the best of luck too. You’ve been so kind, genuine and supportive to every person in this chat. It would be such a loss on NYU’s behalf if you weren’t accepted. We should have the confidence to know that we deserve NYU. It’s questionable whether NYU deserves us. If NYU rejects me imma reject them right back🥴
