I mean I should be thankful for my current situation bc I already got into USC for transfer, so it’s not all that bad if I get rejected from NYU. I really hope all of you have secondary or backup options. I really am praying you all get what you deserve out of this whole fiasco.

From previous trends for decisions, the closer you are to the last date they send out decisions, the more likely you’re going to get waitlisted or rejected. HOWEVER, the trends or patterns for decisions are not really following suit this year, and also a lot of people still have not heard back from NYU, thus don’t see it as a negative if you’re close to last day of decisions being released.

You know what scares me , the fact that because of covid the admissions officers r working from home like imagine a random dude/gal reviewing your application from the comfort of their bed. LOL sorry if this is stressful to think about

Honestly that kinda makes it somewhat better. Being at home vs. being in a work environment brings out a different mood or sense of mind, thus it could be in our favor that the AO’s are in their homes. I mean just imagine if an AO has a kid and they’re reading our essays and the kid finds it funny and interesting. Maybe that’ll be in our favor lol.
