one person got into steinhardt a while ago for education. im waiting too for steinhardt
Hello! I just got admitted into Clive with a 3.3 GPA; with one semester being as low as 2.8. I got into Clive as a Transfer and got no aid or scholarship, but don’t let the GPA be the factor that scares you!
I emailed the AO last week and they gave me the usual rolling basis shpeal, but they added that the timing of your decision doesn’t determine the outcome, so you still have the same chance of being accepted even if you’re later than other people. So I guess, no response is still a good response, at least for the time being.
Congrats! Did you get your email at 2:10 as well?
Congrats!
omg this is giving me hope… my hs gpa was like a 2.98-3.0 eek
congrats!! well deserved
Thank you! And yea I got it exactly at 2:10 EST
I don’t think high school gpa is a huge factor, mine was 2.7 and I was accepted today (though college GPA is 4.0)
yea i have a competitive gpa for college in my opinion, tho i dont have a lot of terms completed so i’m not sure how that’ll work out
thank you tho! and congrats on your acceptance ((:
Congratulations! D is waiting for her Clive decision. You are an external transfer right? When did you apply? And when did you notice your checklist disappeared?
Colleges love improvement so thats amazing! Also NYU doesn’t just go off my gpa, essay is important as well.
agreed! though sometimes the stress cant be helped xd
you’re welcome! I only had two terms completed, be optimistic!
Yus! I am an external transfer. I also applied in 2019 and got waitlisted so I genuinely feel that the committee remembered me. After my checklist was fully checked I didn’t pay attention to it, so I have no idea I just waited for the email. I applied April 1st, even using the grace period on April 2nd to turn in last minute documents
omg same here!! this really put me at ease (:
That’s awesome! Congratulations again. Clive is tough to get into. Hopefully my D hears soon. Will you attend with no aid?
Also when were you notified that you were waitlisted last year do you recall?
whats the grace period?
normally schools allow for docs to be submitted 1-2 weeks after the deadline with no penalty
Thank u! And I send my best wishes Truthfully, it all depends on whether or not a GoFundMe could work or another source of crowd funding. I’m low income from South Florida so hopefully my hometown’s got me
If not, it’s chilling lol
