NYU Transfer Fall 2021

You should try to appeal financial aid if you can. Best of luck to you and hope you can attend!

yes!

Anyone know when Stern applicants hear back typically?

I’m so scared now- I’m CAS bio and it sucks not hearing back and sitting here with so much anxiety :frowning:

This might be the earliest that external applicants for Tisch have heard back. I’m thinking things will go quickly from here and a lot of decisions will be out in the next one to two weeks at the latest.

have any CAS bio majors heard yet?

Not sure. Not that I’ve seen. Not many have heard period. Even today seemed like just a handful of acceptances.

Yeah I haven’t heard. I was hoping they’d release another set at 5 but I guess not

It’s so strange that they released so few today!

congrats! What major did you apply for at Tisch?

honestly though, if people only have a week to reply it makes sense its in small batches

Just one week to commit??

thats what they’re saying on this forum lol

I wonder if they tell you about the financial aid the day you receive your decision… or you have to wait a few days. Cause if that’s the case, that leaves people like 4 days to decide

My application checklist says ‘transferring from a 4 year’ when I’m transferring from a cc… and I just checked my common app but didn’t find a mistake there. Should I be concerned?

i would contact the admissions office because I’m also transferring from a cc and mine says transferring from a 2 year

i contacted them and they said its nothing to be worried about, but i know someone else asked as well and they got theirs switched to “from 2 year” so i think i would email just incase you get a better response than me
i may email again but idk what to say lol :sob:

Mine does too I emailed them and they didn’t do anything about it. They said it doesn’t matter.

They’re usually the last to hear, especially if you’re an external transfer. Judging by previous years and trends, Stern is always the last to give back decisions. Although, I’m hoping this year is different cause I’m a external Stern applicant and really want to know my decision.
