personally think the update buttons on the side are more of an indicator than the disappearing checklist
once they’ve made a decision, i doubt they’ll let you update ur app

If I had to guess I’d guess based on previous years maybe end of this week and more next week with the bulk coming out by May 14 at the latest. That being said I seriously saw every single program with acceptances later than that. Those were the exception versus the norm but it happened. They really do have rolling decisions which is maddening for all of you I know.
I have not heard back. My checklist disappeared last week but that is it. I’m a Gallatin external transfer applicant. Us Gallatin applicants need to stick together! I heard a rumor somewhere that someone got into Gallatin last week. idk if it was internal or a first year though.

I scrolled through last year a bunch of times and even looked at 2019 (since they weren’t dealing with quarantine). I think this year is more likely to be similar to 2019 since more people are either back in the office or used to working remotely. This is what I noted from last year:
4/23 and 4/24 a handful of acceptances from various programs
5/1 Steinhardt, Tandon and CAS acceptances
5/12 - huge wave of acceptances from every program and the first acceptances for Tisch
5/18 - few more acceptances for Tisch and others
6/5 a wave of rejections. I don’t know if anyone was rejected prior to that or not.
And then believe it or not there were handfuls of acceptances in later June and even July!! Which is insane…

Well to be honest I am a very impatient person! LOL. My daughter is being super chill about all of this and was getting stressed out when I asked her about checklists and Albert and all of that. She said “I just want to wait for the email”. Good grief not sure how she’s my kid but I wish I could channel some of that patience!!!

Can you share details on when you applied, did you notice anything with a checklist disappearing etc? Anything else that could be relevant?
I applied a few mins before the deadline and sent my portfolio a few days after April 1st. And after hearing they offer no financial aid to transfers I stopped checking entirely because it was not my top choice. So I have no idea about the portal.

Oh and also in 2019 there was a decent group of acceptances from a lot of the different programs on May 2 (a Thursday).
