OMG my checklist is gone!
not to ruin the moment but a lot of our checklists disappeared last week and nothing happened.
Yeah I know, just hope that this means we’ll get a decision before mid-May. You never know!

Yeah, I’m so confused about the whole checklist thing. Mine has never left, it’s always been there.
Yeah, I’m a bit confused as well, but I don’t think we’ll be able to have a definite answer as to the reasoning behind it disappearing. I don’t think it’s anything to stress over though 
Hopefully it just means that applications are being reviewed in a timely manner

Yeah exactly. Hopefully, they send out some decisions today to people.
honestly I was trying not to check it very often for stress reasons haha so I’m not positive, but I don’t think anything changed?

I have a question, if your accepted, do you have to submit your current term grades? Because not going to lie this semester is not going to look so hot for me, my GPA will definitely go down. It’s been stressful. Could they end up denying you even after your accepted if your GPA is lower?
Yeah they have a checklist for it on the portal. I don’t know about rescinding acceptances but its on the portal

I don’t have anything to back this up, but I feel like the answer is no. I think if your admission was dependent upon grades from this semester they would ask for them prior to releasing your decision

as long as you pass ur class with a C and higher and maintain a 3.0 you’ll be fine

I’m not sure. I wasn’t checking my portal daily because I wasn’t expecting a decision until May (I applied on April 1). I received an email alerting me to my decision.
when do out of state decisions come out?
I could be wrong, but I don’t think location plays any role in determining when decisions are released. I think the majority of people will have their decisions by mid-May if that helps!
What’s the difference between internal and external transfers?
internal transfers are students who already go to nyu but are transferring to another college within the university and they get their decisions before us. external are students who don’t attend nyu at all and are transferring in so we hear back later probably
