Hi,
I’m waitlisted at Tandon. I was wondering if we can still update the waitlist form to give new updates or add majors. I read the FAQ and it said to respond to the waitlist offer by the deadline, but it also said we can continue to send updates. I’m really confused, should I consider contacting the AO’s regarding this?

Can NYU see where a student is already committed? Can that affect getting off the waitlist?
no they encourage ppl to commit to other schools when they’re on the waitlist
But if they see you are committed to a competitive school with a really strong program, would they possibly reject you becuase they don’t think you will actually switch over to NYU, thus hurting their yield?
has anyone not full pay been accepted? when do we think it’ll start?
i don’t think they can see where ur committed ur fine
yes they have, someone here said their friend was accepted and qualified for NYU promise
