Do not know yet. She has committed to Georgetown.
A really good school as well!
Congrats!! Was she offered any financial aid?
@JY2003
Congrats on her Stern offer. Just curious, did she also receive the email saying campuses are full etc last week?
No, she did not ask for.
I am not sure but I think so.
Are all of you planning to remove yourselves from the waitlist?
I’ll stay but won’t keep any hopes
I just got in for spring admission for liberal core study. I applied for CAS no financial aid.
Oh, wow! I got in!!! I really didn’t expect it since they sent out the closed waitlist email… guess it’s not really closed after all. Don’t lose hope, guys!
Congrats! May I ask if you applied for aid? And the major you got accepted into?
I did apply for financial aid, although I didn’t get any $$$. ;( I was accepted into LSC.
Just got in spring admission for liberal core study.
congrats! did you get in for fall or spring?
I got in for spring.
Hello, everyone! I am still on the waitlist for NYU Tisch, but I noticed today while nothing else on my Albert this notification was changed “Financial Aid Year 2024 - 2025: Meeting SAP”.
Everything else on my application is unaltered.
- View Application Status is unchanged.
- There are no NYU Housing Payment deposit for “Spring 2025”
- Financial Aid To Do (1) is “2024-2025 FAFSA Received” is the only notification shown
- Financial Aid Holds (0) You have no Holds.
- Financial Aid Year 2024 - 2025: Award access not available
- You are not active in a program at NYU in 2024-2025. Because of that, you may not access this page. Please contact your advisor for further assistance.
- Apply for NYU Housing | Only Summer 2024 shows up
The SAP indicator intrigues me, but my application shows no movement.
Orientation is 10 weeks from now, so I am wondering if I should remain optimistic or hopeful? Or I should look into other options. I haven’t heard any positive nor negative notifications from NYU Tisch, so I remain on the waitlist. I haven’t removed myself from the waitlist. But, I think I might be one of thise applicants who will wait up until the last week (week 9) before Orientation (Week 10 during the week of August 25- August 28). I might even forgo orientation if I am take off the waitlist early September.
So right now I am a little concern? I have nothing to lose since it is my top program and it aligns with my academic interests.
Otherwise, what other key indicators should I note during the summer as the waitlist closes or other applicants finalize their colleges?
Thank you! I wish you all the best!
Yes. Hopefully, you have committed elsewhere by now.
