Son got the email too. He’s going to CSUF full ride but NYU was his dream school. Will transfer to either UCLA or USC next year. You are all amazing kids and you will do great. Your parents are very proud of you. Don’t lose that fire inside you as you go to this fun journey and remember, what’s meant for you will find you.

99/100 WPA, 1500 SAT (750 both), asian male from nj, harvard legacy, 7 aps, everything else 90% honors classes, my entire application was centered around ECs as a RIAA/Reocrding Academy music producer, a top world ranked/multi national champ in taekwondo, and a bunch of other p unique things that I was atleast in the top 1% of the world for.

Unfortunately no. They only applied to Stern and moved on to another school.

My son received his email from NYU now, so we will be officially moving on.

Even if I had a shot of being able to transfer and get accepted, I don’t think I will because NYU doesn’t offer financial aid to transfer students which I badly need

For what is worth, my sister just got off WL and accepted to Stern. She is Regular, US student, no financial aid and Stern is her only school she is interested in attending.
