I’ll be going ahead with UMass Amherst, and still secretly hope that NYU admits more off the waitlist but then again probably in vain

Northeastern has a lower acceptance rate than NYU if I’m not mistaken so to even get in is a feat of it’s own!

Well this is a sad outcome for all of us who really hoped that all the waiting would be worth it. Thank you all for keeping the faith and keeping us all informed. NYU just wasn’t meant to be

not really my type of school but if by some miracle I get off nyu or UIUC then I’m going there without much hesitation.

Thats amazing, my older brother is going to delft university! Not too far away from rotterdam.
I kept waiting to apply for a visa due to this. Now i most likely need to defer to spring
My D committed UIUC for now , but still wants to wait for NYU… FA applied

Well, I didn’t get in off the waitlist, but Ima try again next year. Applying for tisch film school as an international student and I started the process really late, so I will make a better application next year and hopefully get in.
