I do non traditional schooling (homeschool/online school) so I have limited resources for AP classes…I’m pretty sure that’s what got me rejected from lots of private schools but my essay/LOR must have been good for NYU bc it’s really the only selective school that waitlisted me instead of flat out rejecting me.
I’ll note that I do no traditional education bc Im a pre-pro ballerina (which requires us to have flexible school schedules) and that’s like my main EC

looks like they’ve waitlisted a lot of ed kids this year
I’m really hoping that guy was right when he said they did that to look more selective since waitlist doesn’t count on admission rate
