are we anticipating any decisions being released during the weekend? or are decisions usually only made during weekdays?
Like always, we are all just speculating.
Here’s my theory for this year:
We won’t see any indicators since I believe they’ve finally fixed the bugs.
Then they will probably not release anything over the weekend (just a gut feeling)
And lastly, I personally think a lot of waitlisted people will get accepted based off:
The fact that LESS people applied, yet the acceptance % was still 8. This means slightly less people were admitted, and because of the NYU Promise, NYU needs to make some money
whilst looking selective. So a lot of waitlisted people will be admitted, perhaps even with aid since even with it from what I’ve seen you are going to be paying 30k+.
Or maybe I’m just being hopeful.

Oh that’s almost guaranteed, simply because it looks like it’s a lot of applicants they gotta go through multiple waves, so I bet they are already on it, as a matter of fact they said they would get on it after May 1.

thats a pretty solid theory and it makes sense, especially with the fact that the acceptance rate stayed the same while less were applied. really hoping they’re going to be accepting a lot off the waitlist this year

I’m hoping monday, but obviously that’s unlikely
I read on the co2027 thread that the waves will most likely start on the first tuesday, then continue on to friday. Best we can do is hope for this tuesday since monday is too unlikely for them to start on the waves. Maybe we’ll get an update mail regarding the planned activity on monday! Hoping for us all

Last year and the year before there was a wave on May 5th (first Thursday and Friday after decision day, but they haven’t said anything yet for us ofc) so I think Sunday/Monday IS a possibility for them to at least send an email❤️🩹
2022 they had their FIRST wave on May 2nd which is super early and it was a Monday.
Of course just observing and speculating to calm down my anxiety lol

Sunday is unlikely because of the fact that it would mean they have the decisions uploaded by now, but that seems too short of a time frame for that to have happened.
