So is it less likely that I will be getting off the waitlist since I qualify for the NYU promise and they supposedly barely give aid to waitlisted students?
Hi I just have the the housing indicator with the academic year (checklist still there etc.) I’m full pay, tisch, US
like i said before the first wave is majority only ppl who are full pay, later on most likely they will admit those who need FA (i also qualify for nyu promise so)
In past years FA was awarded, but it was in later admit waves. Posted about this before, but perhaps they see how many Full Pay they get as this can then subsidize FA for later ppl.
What does full pay mean?

I did but then when I did another update I decided to just focus on stern bc I wanna do the dual degree between Stern and Tisch Film&TV and you can’t apply for it straight out of HS so I decided to do Stern first and if I ended up at NYU during freshman year I’ll apply to this program (Film&TV). So that’s why I decided to focus on stern.
