Around when do FA admits get off?
Speculation, but last year was around the 19th.
What if I applied for aid but won’t get any. I come from a family which can pay for NYU fairly easily but my parents still applied for aid (tbh don’t know why). Will I still have to wait till later in the month?

They probs will check us with the rest of people that asked for financial aid
Also checking last year’s thread they barely gave fa to anyone like no one said they got a lot i think so idk maybe that could benefit us if they r looking at profit margins
why not leave the aid for students that truly need it 
they did some ppl got almost full rides but it was towards the end of second/third waves like we’ve repeated lol
It was our parent’ choice not ours, it is their money not ours, we dont get a say

I have actually asked a few times on here if there was a way I could remove my Aid request so other students could have a better chance at getting good aid. No need to act like I am selfish we all want to get into NYU and afford to go.

Does anyone think it is not a good idea for me to write and ask to not be considered for Aid? Like would it hurt to me to ask that?
Are you sure you wanna be full pay? If 100% on it then go ahead maybe you might get in sooner, but if you want the $ then don’t ask
ik, when everyone lost hope by the end of may and they just stopped replying it actually broke my heart
especially that girl who wanted to get into tandon and was like rlly desperate
