I can’t access financial aid links but I can access the other ones. I can also access and get cyber protection on my laptop free which idk how that happened lol

Can someone clarify this? So NYU waitlists are not ranked but they are evaluating waitlists on a rolling basis… So does this mean they will choose a random pile of applicants each wave?
Basically they accept a bunch of people. A lot of these will decline, and then these spots are filled up in future waves. At least that’s what I understand from this

yup there’s waves every 4 days (bc that’s the amount of time to decline/accept) can be small or big waves
So if wave 1 is today then the next wave will be either Thursday or Friday?

Ohh, i thought they reviewed everyone’s all together and sent acceptances accordingly i.e which applicant they want the most. This is confusing

but if there’s a wave today there’ll still be people getting their letter tomorrow and Wednesday. it’s so complicated tbh

Yea. I know 14 ppl who applied RD that got in during June 1st week too.
it means all of us have an equal chance and this more luck based.
im waitlisted at tandon btw for ref and added stern and cas as well in the checklist.

Ah I must tell this, I applied Tandon but in my WL form, I also opted for LSC, GLS, and Stern.
what are the indicators I should look for? please tell me as I havent checked that yet.
