Has anyone else had their NYU account disabled? Just tried to check and it is gone. I guess that’s telling me it’s over.
Really need some help, kinda desperate over here. I received an interest letter on Tuesday and it went into spam. I didn’t realize it until half an hour ago. I responded the form right away and called the admission office and wrote an email to my regional representative to explain what happened. Now, does this interest letter mean acceptance? Do I totally mess it up 'cause I didn’t respond within 24 hrs? I am literally crying.
Anyone?

Thank you so much! So I am not guaranteed admission even though I responded the interest letter within 24 hrs? I just hope two day delay won’t hurt my chance… I never played well with the odds.
hey guys so i received an interest email for gallatin 2 days ago. now i checked my portal and where it says admissions decision is gone. good or bad sign u think?

@khan28 I think they are updating your decision right now. It’s a good sign (On the blog post they said that they only update the decisions for admits).

@nav230 Okay, that probably means they’re updating it and it’ll be released today. I’m hoping they’re released at around 6 PM Eastern Time, but I’m not completely sure.
Does it update to an acceptance all the time ?

the post says "On Monday, May 22, we will admit another round of students from our wait list. By Monday evening, we will have admitted a total of 925 students from our wait list.
Included in those offers of admission will be students awarded one of the 70 spaces we have in our new Spring Admission program. These students will arrive in January for the Spring semester. They will stay with us for the Summer term to ensure they are on track to graduate with the Class of 2021.
It is highly unlikely that we will admit anyone from this point forward to our Global Liberal Studies Program, our Meyers College of Nursing, our School of Professional Studies, or our campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. All of these programs and campuses are at capacity. It is premature to speculate on our other programs at this time but I will provide you with future updates this summer when I have more definitive information to share.
We will provide all of our applicants with a final admission decision no later than August 1. In the interim, please feel free to review our wait list FAQ if you have not done so already.
We respectfully ask that you do not send us any additional materials whatsoever at this time and that you not call or email to inquire about your status on the wait list. There is no additional information we can share at this time.
