love both of them so I have difficulties making decisions.
I am planning to study Chemistry or Biology or related majors in College, and I am planning to pursue Guaduate studies.
Where to go Orz

Ps, I have 7 wait lists. All of them are great schools. Can anyone with a wait list experience help me

I won’t bother laying out the pros and cons of each school. They are different enough that you can do that for yourself quite easily. Both schools have good bio and chem programs and graduate schools recognize the excellence of both schools so that shouldn’t be a big factor in the decision.

What was your criteria in selecting them in the first place? If you can articulate your dilemma more clearly, what exactly the trade-offs are in your mind, someone here may provide useful insight. Otherwise it’s just a rehash of the well-known characteristics of both schools.

The admissions blog at UVa has info that is periodically updated about the status of waiting lists for UVa. The waiting list is typically long.

Unfortunately, many colleges don’t go into their waiting list until after May 1, so it is necessary to put a deposit down at another college. I believe if you explain your case in advance that you are waiting for a wait list spot, some colleges may give you a little more time to put down the deposit or may agree that the deposit is refundable within a limited period of time.
