***Oct 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

got 2100… eh… :c

based on previous SAT’s, the writing curve seems to be favorable. I’m pretty sure I got 4 wrong and a 9 essay. thought it would be in high 600’s because friend in june got a 710 with a 10 essay and 4 wrong.

Wow, made 2060. Whatever.

I wanna personally congratulate @sat2014  we all had faith in you and knew you could reach your goal! You did it

@scarlettlovesivy‌ Thanks! Appreciate all the support.

I feel so ashamed to post my scores here hahaha anyone taking the december one?

Guys im gonna miss you :frowning: #ReunionatPenn?

i did pretty eh… whaddddupppp scarlett what did u get? and lol i got
cr: 750
wr: 750 (9 essay)
m:640
such a weird balance lol

@running1998 wait that happened to me too except I got a 750 CR and a 690 Math and 670 Writing (9 essay). I was so shocked since I had never broken 700 CR before and was always scoring 750+ on both Math and Writing.

@silverphi i did okay hahah message me if you wanna know specifics dont feel like posting it. This goes for anyone else who wants to know

CR-750
Math-800
Writing-750 (essay 9)
total-2300
Should i retake? I really wanted a score 2350+.

2250
R: 690
M: 770
W: 790 (78 and 10 essay)

Needed one additional question in each to get 2300. Retaking in December. :(

Also, what is the best representation of the test after completing blue book and online course? Princeton looks pretty similar, but idk. Or can I just download past tests from somewhere?

I was postive I didn’t make more than 4 mistakes on reading, yet here I am sitting with a 680. I literally got an 800 on every practice I took and many of those were real tests from the last few years. I’m ordering the damn QAS thing to see what mistakes I made. I didn’t omit anything and made sure to pencil it in completely. The only possibility is that their machine screwed up and thought I omitted some questions. If that turns out to be the case I will shell out the 55 bucks to get the damn thing recored. MFing collegboard and their money sucking system. I need to be sure that my score wasn’t fudged up. It makes no sense for me to flop so badly after it was my strongest subject in practice.

Really upset.
CR: 660 (scored over 700 on every practice test I took, so not sure how that happened)
Math: 600 (pleasantly surprised! I’m not a math person. Like, at all. Did much better than I thought I would.
Writing: 720 (essay killed me- got an 8. 75 on MC. Otherwise on par with how I’d done)
I hadn’t studied for weeks before the test and I had a major panic attack the night before the test and then again midway through the test. So I suppose it’s not awful considering those factors, but seeing people on this thread upset with 2100s is quite upsetting. Idk. Congrats to everyone, though!

hi guys, i have a question!
i took the oct sat and i got
CR 730
M 800
W 780
9 essay
composite 2310

im a sophomore but i was really really hoping for 2350… i feel like i could really improve my CR and idk what happened with the essay tbh… i thought i did well :frowning:
i know i might seem like a pretentious little b for complaining about my score but it was my first time taking it and i feel like i could do better and improve my superscore yknow? what do you guys think?? should i retake? i feel really conflicted right now :///

660 CR
700 M
730 W, 12 on essay
Oops. I did about 150 points last time I took it. Multiple choice is really not my thing. That CR is kinda sad though, because I got a 740 last time.

the only thing you should take is a chill pill. you have no idea how many people would love to have a 2310. I suggest you be content with that score. and btw, that is VERY pretentious…especially for a sophomore

I scored a 640 on Critical Reading, 670 on Math, 620 on Writting(down from 640), and am really pleased!

@sarahere you should retake; your score is horrible. Most ivies will throw your app to the shredder once they find out you got such an egregious score of 2310.

Anyone know the full curve for CR?
