October 18 PSAT Discussion

I’m actually 100% sure. But ehh whatever.

I put fail(?)…redudancy for the machine one

@eq

i put the answer where the 2nd word was redundant

If anybody else reading this besides us three remembers the wording of the question, please do post.

Unoriginal i’m 100% sure “them” was in the sentence

I’m pretty sure it was “many of them Mexican Americans”, and I put no error.

I skipped two CR and one M…I’m seconding Equilibrium’s (nice name!) question about the complex machine; that was one of the ones I left blank. I think one of the choices involved magnanimous or something like that, but I’m not sure…

CR was harder than I expected, M was easier, W was about the same but W is always the easiest for me.

I am almost sure it was “many of them”. I was 100% until I heard other people mention it could be “many Mexican Americans”. Now I’m 95%.

Who do you mean “other people”? On this forum, or classmates?

I am one billion percent sure it said “many of them Mexican Americans”

i am sooooooo sure…

i cudn’t be more sure of anything else…lol.

i stared at the sentence for a longgg time…

Almost 100% positive it was “many of them Mexican American”. I put down e for that one.

I’m screwed up so bad on this test. I didn’t omit any questions, even with a few that I did not know an answer. Damn.

Redundancy is actually some kind of term in engineering, meaning having many parts that do the same task, so when I saw machine and then saw redundancy in the choice selection, it was like PICK ME.

And lol JP 1000 I’m with you on the Mexicans

Other people meaning CCers ;)

For the definition of trade in context, what did y’all put? I’m a bit nervous, as I did not read through all of the answer choices thoroughly.

thanks for clearing up that math question w/ 55 up

okay, anyone remember the psychological passage…were any of the answers about natural impulses and unresticted motion or something??

trade in context- commerce?

i put profession. idk though

“Redundancy is actually some kind of term in engineering, meaning having many parts that do the same task, so when I saw machine and then saw redundancy in the choice selection, it was like PICK ME.”

but the machine was having only one part of it do an action.

I put commerce. I didn’t get answers about natural impulses and unresticted motion.

trade in context- I put profession, because he was a businessman, not necessarily a man of commerce.

I put craft.

Does anyone remember the choices for trade in context?

wait, jk, I might have put profession–I was wavering between those two
