.64 for number 49? Number 46 was choice E.

4 O and 1 W, WHAT IS THAT GUYS>??? please.

probably an 800

For the one with 5^xy<1, xy<0 was the answer unless I am mistaken.

that’s what i got too

hey man, do you know what no. 45 problem was???
by the knight’s list

Can anyone explain the f(x+1)= x * f(x) ?

The dice one annoyed me so much that I after i solved it because I left it blank

2 die, 112222
122222,

and it asks probabiltiy of having a 1 AND a 2, so the chance of having different numbers.
So i solved for chance of having same numbers,

which is 2/6 * 1/6 for the ones
and 4/6*5/6 for twos

2/36 + 20/36, wich is 22/36, so chance of having different numbers is 14/36, which is 7/18.

was that an answer choice?

and they also gave me k^2 + 4k = 3t

i put zero… what are the 2 answers if right side was zzero?

thanks for the solution whatisthis. ^^

and 14/36 was an answer choice.

Would anyone please tell me what the different distance was?

PLEASE solution please.
Q:
Someone goes 35 m/h, and other 40m/h
distance is 20.

how do you solve this?
This is how I did.
(20/40) X 60 = 30 minutes
(20/35) X 60 = 34.2857 minutes

I thought the difference was 4.28
Is this right? no?
ARE THE NUMBERS RIGHT? DUDE I AM PANIKING

Your 14/36 answer is correct. f(x+1)=x*f(x) was tricky.

They gave you f(1) = 1. That means f(2) = f(1+1)=1f(1)=1.
f(3) = f(2+1) = 2f(2) = 21 = 2
f(4) = f(3+1) = 3f(3) = 32 = 6
f(5) = f(4+1) = 4f(4) = 4*6 = 24 <–answer

For that last problem, there’s an answer explanation floating around this thread somewhere. . . . Looking at the earlier pages.

Koharvard, I think you read the problem wrong. One of the speeds was 30 mph, I think, not 40.

hey, what do you think is 7 omit, maybe 1 or 2 wrong

Kean is right, it was 30 and 35.

And I did solve that f(x+1) question later as well. I was in a rush and made a mistake

4w and 5 omit? is that like a 780?
I retook it after a 770. ■■■.

whatisthis, the two solutions for k^2+4k=3(0) are k=0 and k=-4. The answer was -4/3.

Thank you 240000. I’m sad now.

do you guys think it was harder than usual? like 43 is 800?

yeah it was alot harder than the ones in the blue book …

so how much would about 10-12 omitted be? point wise? my goal is 700+? is that possible… unless there is a huge curve??(i think a 680 would work also, but nothing less than a 670)
so 10-12 omitted and say 1-6 wrong?

i am really hoping the curve is HUGEEE…math is my best subject (besides science) and i dont know it didnt feel right… i studied so hard, but i focused more on solids and all… i knew the rest but there were some tricky ones… I hate (HATE) probability… just so damn annoyingg lol

also i just read somewhere that
if the test was hard then the curve is 7 points
and easy is 4/5?
idk if thats true, but based on what i have read here, i think it was fairly hard?? i hope so… omitted 10-12 so im nervous…

yeah i felt it was a little bit harder compared to the practice tests.

2nd part of the test was definitely harder

yeah i’m really hoping for 43—800
