i put whiff because whiff means more like to smell, others were just types of smells

Are you guys sure it was “glared” instead of “shone”?

LMU, i kept it, because it was relevant to the artist’s life/work

the topic sentence of the first body paragraph mentioned something about living humbly, back to basics…etc.

DEFINITELY glared… it has a negative connotation, and the other words were either neutral or positive

:LMU, i kept it, because it was relevant to the artist’s life/work"

I kept it for the other reason. The next paragraph said something about it, very little. I was unsure

For the artist with the pears and neighbor’s hand-crafted bowl or whatever, I kept it since it goes with the passages theme of homely & “personal touch” stuff or something.

what about that one that like
buying property
to buy property
property to buy

i chose the first one because the rest of the verbs in the sentence had ing… i think the other verb was indentifying

it was not celebration it was to experience…
people aren’t celebrating properties. They get to experience buying a property when you couldn’t because it was the depression.

kept the “treasured” shell (the adjectives) because it was an inimate connection in the next sentence

you’re right tbonus, i put “buying property” too. it was the only one that fit, really…

hhhhhhhh edit

the answer was celebration obviously

@yuenie i thought it was the answer that had “intimacy” in it

lol it was obviously celebration

I would go with celebrated.

Sounded worse than experience in context, but the prompt clearly asked for something very positive. Experieince is neutral.

As for glared vs shone, yea you guys are right. I spent forever debating whether shone was a word or not before deciding that it wasn’t. ■■■.

experience is neutral, however, a chance to experience implies a positive nature

so did u guys get whom as an answer where it talks about renting or something

a chance to experience buying property during a depression is a positive feeling

who was the answer. “whom” is usually never an answer.

^ yep

Tbh, shone threw me off. Sounds weird to me… but I put glared.

i put glared as well
