In my in box this morning - not just Amazon products but other stores going big on sales this week also. It’s lengthy, but near the beginning save yourself sometime and click a category.
This would not be a “fun” purchase but I have had it in my mind to consider getting one for area rug spots, furniture, car cleaning, carpet runner on stairs. Anyone have one and really love it or find they use it enough? I hate storing stuff I don’t use…
SIL bought a new 65" flat screen TV to replace the brand new one their preschooler broke when she threw wooden blocks at the screen and cracked it.
And it was $400 less this week than what he originally paid for it 2 months ago.
I bought a travel tote to match the carry-on suitcase I got last year. Tote is an extra $20 off the aleady reduced sale price because it’s a discontinued color. (And it matches my suitcase.)
I got tempted and went over there. I have a few items in my shopping cart (bras and a pair of earrings), but Nordstrom’s site is having technical difficulties and I can’t check out. Will continue to try and check out.
I had one before I moved, but sold it before I left. Both of my daughters have one. (One specifically requested it as a Xmas gift 3 years ago.) Both have either elderly pets and/or small children. Hence lots of spills, barf spots and potty accidents.
It’s easy to use and works great for small cleaning jobs.
Not impressed with Prime Day sale so far. I made a list a week or so ago in Amazon to see if anything would have a price drop. In addition, I need to replace my Kindle. I really just wanted the basic one that sells for $99 - it has been unavailable for weeks, if not months. I was going to settle and get the Paperwhite that sells for $149. Last October I got it for my daughter for $99. This year, the discount is a mere 17% off ($125). Then today I notice the basic Kindle is finally available but it’s not even discounted - still $99, the same price I paid last year for my daughter’s Paperwhite!
Among other things on my shopping list was underwear. It was $15.99 all week and today, price rose to $19.99! So rather than a Prime deal, the price went up. Nothing else on my list discounted (skin care products, air-tight canister for coffee, vacuum bags, etc).
Maybe I’ll have better look checking out things on my wish list at Nordstrom! Not that I truly need any clothes.
Sorry to hear about that. But keep checking your wishlist. I’ve been contemplating getting an air fryer or air fryer toaster oven for awhile, but the model I had put on my wishlist wasn’t marked down this morning. But then I reviewed my wishlist this afternoon and the price had dropped 56% so I pulled the trigger. (I purchased this Cuisinart air fryer oven.) So although it can be annoying by continuing to throw yourself into the land of marketing and temptation, there can be times when it works out!
