GA2012…if you read the article, it never states that this woman had IVF (or had embryos implanted) and opines that it is possible she had ovulation induction treatment, which stimulates egg production and doesn’t allow as much control over the number of embryos that result. Just clarifying, not judging, on this one point.

Sorry, I should have read more clearly. I’m still just saying…

There is as video clip on CNN today where Nadya Sulemon admits that she has screwed up her life and that of her kids and how at the time she had the pregnancy, she was only thinking “in the moment” and not about the future.

Well, with experience comes maturity. Too bad she had to mess up the lives of 14 children, not to mention her mother and father, before realizing this. Isn’t this what everyone – including Dr. Phil – was telling her when the babies were born? But she just didn’t get it.

^^^ But now the reality of dealing with 14 kids under age seven where 8 are infants is setting in!

Guess she had to experience it to believe it. Unfortunately, a lot of lives are impacted, including her own.

It’s not too late for Octomom to put some of those infants up for adoption.

Coronax, wow, I did not see that. Even someone nine months pregnant with ONE baby looks it! LOL. Well, she had her 12 minutes of fame.

The Octomom special is just now starting on Fox on the East Coast. How big of a train wreck it will be we shall see.

Oh my-- and up against “Do you want to be a Millionairre”-- such tough choices…

Watching Millionairre here. Can’t stand octo or J&K+8 at all anymore.

Spending time on CC here, before I go off to finish my new mystery book. Reading one, that is; not writing one.

I can’t stand the crap that’s on TV, especially in re-run season. (I already saw Criminal Minds or I’d watch that.)

^Oooo–which mystery book? [nothing on TV tonight…]

LMNOP, I discovered an author named Kathy Reichs. She is the original “Bones,” a forensic anthropologist who now writes mystery novels. I’m reading her first one, called “Deja Dead.” She’s written about 10 or so all together, and I figured I’d read them in chronological order. I’m enjoying it very much, but then, I love the CSI/forensic/medical stuff very much.

"You knew we were headed into Creepy Crazyville when, in the opening moments of “Octomom,” Nadya Suleman was bringing home the first two of her octuplets and she’s told paparazzi are closing in on her car. What does she do after covering the babies with a blanket? She puts on make-up for the photographers she’s “avoiding.”

Brrrr. “Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage” was a repulsively grim two hours. I hope for your sake you were watching “Top Chef” instead. If it wasn’t my job, I wouldn’t have lasted into the second “Octomom” hour, when Suleman tells the camera crew that seems to be living with her that she believes her house is “haunted” and that she has to get a “Bible for every room in the house.”

No, that makes her sound more sane than she came off here."
[?Octomom? is repulsively grim 2 hours of TV- msnbc.com](http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32492117/ns/entertainment-television/)

VH, I have read Kathy Reichs–except for the situation of the title character, the TV show isn’t a lot like the books, I think. I love the TV show. Happy reading!

I just watched some of this at Hulu. Towards the end of the show is the footage from the operating room when the babies were born. it’s just so disturbing. The camera woman is obviously in the way and gets in an ongoing fight with the staff about her right to be there because it’s what Nadya wants. The surgeon repeatedly asks for quiet. I can’t imagine the stress on the staff.

The toddler with autism is a real handful. The nannies seem to do most of the baby care. It just looks like a not very well run orphanage.

When you think about the intensity with which we on CC help our children, one by one, the contrast is chilling. I hope her 14 children have adults in their lives who will help them also.

I just finished watching. The piece that was so terribly disturbing to me was when she was out having dinner with a female friend and was talking about maybe someday having the sperm donor come in to her kids lives. She seemed so terribly sad and I think it was the most real she’d ever been. The rest of the show was like watching a 40 car accident happen, with one hitting another, then another, then another, then another…I admit to laughing my butt off over the “Mother’s Day” wanna be greeting card/family portrait and every child (every child) not participating, crying, sniffling, unhappy, unwilling. Oh and when the 3 year old called her a bee-atch (not once, but twice!!). :)

I seriously feel pity for these children. :(
